First Impressions of Pittsburgh and US

Oh now I do understand those folks who don't want to leave their native countries! My start here at Pittsburgh was quite difficult, especially alone without much personal accommodation, transportation, or local knowledge. On the other hand, I wouldn't convince anyone into feats like walking several miles under the 100F sun anyway.

I have suddenly found an answer to the following questions: 

• Who starts their weeks on Sundays?
• Who uses foots, yards, gallons, and Fahrenheits?
• Who opens their locks turning a key in direction of the lock itself?
• Who wants to charge you extra money for nearly everything?
• Who stops working at 5 PM (by the way, why have those AM/PM anyway)?
• Who tries to pretend that foreigners are good at their language?

Yes, there's one single answer to all these: Americans.
