The Dark Knight Rises Filmed in Pittsburgh

The film guys move from place to place to film scenes. Today, they blocked Oliver Street, covered it with artificial snow (which is not very similar to snow even visually, I can guarantee that), and thus attracted a lot of idlers. I was one of those idlers.

A few photos of Pittsburgh-Gotham are under the cut.

They carry actors and equipment in these big trucks. There were at least a dozen around.
The large fans create the wind if needed.
Many cars got trapped in the area.

"Snow" behaves in a strange manner, sometimes.

Black and White.

The Batmobile covered with white something (not snow).
Look for this building in the movie!
Filming caused SHOCKING traffic jams (up to 20 cars in a row, oh my goodness!)

For those who has been patient enough, two pictures of Alina and fancy background are granted:

Mosaic rhinoceros.

The Fromage Bridge where Napoleon has finally been defeated (in my version of history).

  1. Снег впечатляет, черное и белое - тоже, Алина хороша (видимо ей хватило терпения) :)
